Online Discussion

In this series of MEA 1st Anniversary celebrations, we also held an Online Discussion Series. For this online discussion series, MEA collaborated with the Ambonese Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) media. This online discussion series is divided into 3 (three) sessions and held Live Streaming on Official YouTube. Two sessions were held in Ambon.

• Session I (one) was held on Monday, November 22, 2021 at 10.00 WIT with the theme “Socialization of Regional Regulations concerning Regional Companies of Maluku Energi Abadi“. In this session MEA invites resource persons, namely :

1. 1. Chairman of the Maluku Provincial DPRD, Drs. Lucky Wattimury, M.Si.
   2. Head of the Legal Bureau of the Maluku Provincial Secretariat, Alwiyah F. Alaydrus, S.H., M.H.
   3. President Director of PT. Maluku Energi Abadi (Perseroda), Ir. Musalam Latuconsina

This session is held for 2 (two) hours by streaming on the Official YouTube MEA [YouTube link]

• Session II (two) will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 11.00–13.00 WIT with the theme “Participating Interest 10% 3 Oil and Gas Blocks in Maluku” with the following speakers :

1. 1. The Head of the Maluku Province Energy and Mineral Resources Office, Drs. Fauzan Chatib, M.Si.
   2. Head of Regional Revenue Agency Kab. Central Maluku, Ir. Bob Rachmat, M.Si.
   3. Head of the Operations Department of SKK Migas Papua Maluku, Anggraitaputra Srijono
   4. President Director of PT. Maluku Energi Abadi (Perseroda), Ir. Musalam Latuconsina

There are interesting things in this online discussion, namely when entering the question and answer session. The caller named Ms. Cornelia who is also one of the alumni of the scholarship program held by the provincial government. Maluku. According to him, from what he knows, the Masela Field is not in the Tanimbar Islands Regency (KKT). Is it legally applicable, KKT is entitled to a 10% PI from Masela?. This question was answered directly by a representative of SKK Migas Pamalu, “It is true that the location of the Hydrocarbon and Gas Well in Masela is more than 12 miles. In this session, we also invited the Regent of East Seram Regency, Abd. Mukti Keliobas and the Regent of the Tanimbar Islands Regency, Petrus Fatlolon, S.H., M.H., but both were unable to attend. This discussion series is also broadcast through MEA’s Official YouTube [YouTube link].

• For the discussion series for session III (three), MEA collaborated with one of the national media platforms, Ruang Energi in the form of a Webinar moderated by Brigitta Manohara, News Anchor. The theme of this webinar is “Masela Block in the Economic Development of the Maluku Community“.
  The following speakers were invited to be speakers in this webinar :

   2. SKK Migas Deputy for Business Support, Rudi Satwiko
   3. Director General of Oil and Gas, Prof. Ttuka Ariadji represented by Barkun Suko

Similar to Sessions I & II, this webinar is held online via Virtual Zoom facilitated by Ruang Energi and also streamed on MEA’s Official YouTube  and Ruang Energi [YouTube link].
